To view a company's B-BBEE status, look no further than the dti B-BBEE Registry. It is a free central national source of the B-BBEE status for all entities. All companies that register with the dti are allocated a Unique Reference Number (URN) and are assisted to submit their B-BBEE status to the dti. It is then uploaded to the dti B-BBEE Registry. Simply key in a company's URN and you'll be able to view their B-BBEE Status.

If you'd like to market your business to potential clients, join the dti B-BBEE Opportunities Network. It's a search engine that's designed to help businesses find B-BBEE compliant entities for ownership, procurement, or enterprise development opportunities.

Fronting can be summarised as the intentional misrepresentation of an entity's B-BBEE status - and it's a definite no-go area!
